Sheet nesting
Panels nested onto your sheet sizes, with grain locked where a laminate needs it.
Once a design is approved, Cut List breaks every module into panels with sizes, grain direction and edge banding. It nests them onto your sheet sizes to waste less board, and prints labels and hardware lists for the workshop.
| Code | Panel | Size | Edge |
|---|---|---|---|
| B3-S | Base side | 720 × 560 | 1L 2mm |
| W1-L | Wall side | 720 × 320 | 1L 0.8mm |
| T1-S | Tall side | 2150 × 560 | 2L 2mm |
The approved model already knows every carcass, shelf, back and shutter. Nothing is retyped.
Panels are nested onto 8 × 4 ft sheets or your own sizes, respecting grain and blade kerf. Offcuts above your size are saved for reuse.
Print sheet layouts and panel labels, or export for your panel saw or CNC. The workshop marks panels cut from a tablet.

Which edges get 0.8 mm or 2 mm tape, and how many running metres to order.
Labels with project, module, panel code and edges, so assembly on site is not a puzzle.
Hinges, channels, lift-ups, handles and screws counted per module and per project.
Usable offcuts are kept in stock and used first on the next project.
CSV for panel saws and optimiser software, DXF for CNC routers on the Marine Grade plan.
Everything here works with the rest of Gharpenter. The measured room, design, quote, cut list and orders all read from one project.
Panel saw teams usually work from the printed sheet layouts or the CSV export. CNC routers can use the DXF export on the Marine Grade plan.
Yes. Kerf, edge trim and minimum offcut size are set per machine.
