1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to design studios, workshops and contractors who hold an account (“studios”), the people they invite such as designers, site and workshop users (“team members”), and homeowners who view their project in a client gallery (“clients”).
2. What we collect
- Account details: name, work email, role, studio name, city and team size given at sign up.
- Project data: site measurements, room plans, photos taken on site, designs, quotes, cut lists, purchase orders, schedules and comments.
- Client details: the client name, contact email and site location entered by the studio for a project.
- Price lists and libraries: rates, module sizes, finishes and hardware rules a studio uploads.
- Usage data: device type, browser, pages used and error logs, used to keep the service working.
3. How we use it
- To run the service: turn measurements into plans, draft layouts, price quotes, create cut lists and track projects.
- To send account email such as login credentials, approval notices and billing receipts.
- To improve layout drafting using de-identified room geometry. Client names, addresses and photos are never used for this.
- To prevent abuse and keep accounts secure.
4. Client homes are private
Photos of a client's home, floor plans and designs are visible only to the studio team on that project and to the client. They are never shown in public galleries, marketing or to other studios.
5. Sharing
We do not sell studio or client data. We share data only with service providers who host, email or process payments for us under confidentiality terms, with vendors a studio chooses to send a purchase order to, and where the law requires it.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access inside a studio follows the roles the studio sets, and staff access on our side is limited and logged.
7. Retention and deletion
Project data is kept while the account is active. A studio owner can export or delete projects at any time. After an account is closed, data is deleted within 90 days, except records we must keep for tax or legal reasons.
8. Your choices
Team members and clients can ask their studio to correct or remove their details. Studios can request a copy of their data or its deletion through the contact page.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect forms from spam. We do not use advertising cookies on this website.
10. Changes
If we change how we handle data in a way that matters to you, we will tell account owners by email before the change applies.
